Create your account
Everything starts from Get started on vercatus.com, which opens the app’s account page. If you already have an account, the Sign in tab is on the same page.
1. Create the account
Section titled “1. Create the account”An email address and a password, with the terms accepted, or Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft. Enterprise workspaces can send their domains to their own identity provider; see Single sign-on.
2. The welcome
Section titled “2. The welcome”A few questions, so the app can recommend a plan:
- How you will use Vercatus: for yourself, for a team, or for an agency’s clients.
- How many domains. Above 25 domains the welcome offers a short form to reach us instead; that is Enterprise.
- Your first domain. The app checks at once that it can reach it.
- The workspace: its name and the seats you expect to need.
3. The setup screen
Section titled “3. The setup screen”The setup screen lists what is left, in any order:
- Confirm your email with the 6-digit code we send, or with the link in the same email.
- Verify the domain, described on Verify a domain: connecting the site’s Search
Console verifies it at once; a DNS
TXTrecord proves full ownership. - Choose a plan: the recommended one or another, monthly or annual, paid on Stripe’s page. Buy a plan covers it.
Before a plan
Section titled “Before a plan”Without a plan, the app shows what Vercatus can already read on your first domain, at no cost: its favicon and
title, whether the AI crawlers are let in, its robots.txt and llms.txt, and the size of its sitemap. It is an
access preview, not a measurement of AI answers and not a site audit.
With a plan and a verified domain, Vercatus builds the site’s topics, starts asking the answer engines about them and starts the site audit; nothing starts before the domain is verified. The first days describes what arrives and when, and Plans and limits what each plan includes.
For a guided product discussion or an enterprise evaluation, use Contact. A walkthrough request is handled by the team and is separate from the self-serve account and plan flow.
