Plans and limits
Vercatus has five plans: Essentials, Starter, Growth, Portfolio and Enterprise. Every plan includes the whole loop: Why, the Engine Briefs, plays and verdicts. The unit is the topic: plans differ in the answer engines they read, how many topics each site measures, how many AI answers the poll reads for them, and on how many sites. Engines come in fixed sets so every site on a plan is read on the same panel: Essentials reads ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Perplexity; Starter adds Gemini and Copilot Search; Growth and up read every engine. There is no measurement-only plan, and engines are never add-ons. The price of each plan, the per-site prices and worked examples are stated once, on the pricing page; this page lists what the allowance contains and what happens at its edge.

The promise

- Essentials and Starter are the full loop on fewer topics and engines, on one site. Fewer engines put more answers on each topic and engine, so the ranges are as tight as on the larger plans. Their API keys are read-only, enough for the MCP server and every read. Their site audit is a baseline crawl when the site is verified, read without the model and outside the allowance, then one change run a month against it.
- Poll answers are spread through the month so the poll never runs out early; see The poll. Reused answers to shared public questions count like any other.
- Topics are counted on each site, and a topic beyond the plan is refused with the reason. A paused or retired topic does not count.
- Pages analysed in depth are the crawled pages the model reads closely, one of every template first; the rest of the crawl gets the access and technical checks.
A new workspace without a plan shows what Vercatus can already read on its first domain (the AI crawlers’ access,
robots.txt and llms.txt, the sitemap), then runs a free audit once: about thirty questions on its topics put to
ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and Perplexity, with its share of the answers and who they name instead. It does not
measure over time until it has a plan. Paid plans have no trial period

Deeper runs, with more pages per run, are on request. Allowances renew monthly on the billing day, on annual plans too. Every figure above is an allowance, not a meter: the price is fixed, and Runs and allowances describes what happens at the limit.
