Bing and Copilot content-preview controls
Bing gives noarchive and nocache specific meanings for Copilot (formerly Bing Chat): content tagged noarchive is not included in or linked from Chat and Copilot answers and is not used to train Microsoft's generative AI foundation models; content tagged nocache may be included but only its URL, title and snippet are shown, and only those are used for training; when both are present Bing treats the page as nocache. noindex also keeps content out of that training. These are page-level robots meta or X-Robots-Tag directives (name="bingbot" limits them to Bing), so a page can be crawled and indexed by Bing yet absent from Copilot answers.

AGrade A: official documentation or a standard. A grade describes the provenance of the sources above; it is not a probability that a change will work. The effect basis says how the size of the effect is known: measured by a study, taken from an industry report, only documented without a size, or not quantified.
