Grade AR-076Content
Distinct page titles and clear topic ownership
Google generates title links automatically from several sources, the <title> element first among them, plus the main visible title, headings, og:title, anchor text and structured data; it asks for a descriptive, concise <title> on every page and warns that repeated or boilerplate titles make pages impossible to tell apart.

AGrade A: official documentation or a standard. A grade describes the provenance of the sources above; it is not a probability that a change will work. The effect basis says how the size of the effect is known: measured by a study, taken from an industry report, only documented without a size, or not quantified.
