Vercatus vs Ranketta: Tracking Products or Proving Changes
Compare Vercatus and Ranketta by the job your team needs done: which engines each reads on which plan, how answers are collected, what it hands you to change, and how it tells whether the change worked.

Vercatus and Ranketta both measure how AI answers mention brands, and both price their smaller plans on fewer answer engines. They are built for different jobs: Ranketta for online stores that want their products and feeds ready for AI shopping, Vercatus for teams that want the exact change and a verdict on whether it worked.
In short
- Ranketta’s centre is e-commerce: product-level visibility and AI rewrites of product feeds sent to Google Merchant Center, Amazon and others.
- Vercatus’s centre is one loop: Answer Share with its range, why a competitor is picked, the change, and a verdict read against topics left alone.
- Run the same evaluation on both, on your own topic.
This page is published by Vercatus. It is not a hands-on benchmark of Ranketta. Every statement about Ranketta’s engines, plans, method and price is read from Ranketta’s own pages and documentation, linked below, on 25 October 2026, and was not tested.

Each cell is read from the page linked in its row and was not tested. Amounts are as the vendor prints them. Vendors change plans often, so check the source before you buy.
| Tool | Engines by plan | Unit of a plan | Published price | How answers are collected | Source | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vercatus | Essentials: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity. Starter adds Gemini and Copilot Search. Growth and up: all ten, adding Claude, Grok, Le Chat and You.com | Topics, sites and polled answers a month; each allowance is in the plan reference | By plan on the pricing page, tax included | ChatGPT’s app and Google’s and Bing’s results pages as people see them; the other engines through their own web search; many phrasings per topic, with a range on every share | Pricing and methodology | 25 October 2026 |
| Ranketta (online stores) | Tracker: 2 of ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. Starter, Growth, Scale: 3, 4 or 5 of those or of Claude, Copilot, Grok, Alexa and Meta Muse. Enterprise: 10+ | Prompts per model (30 to 300), websites, countries and monthly credits for content and feed work | €29, €79, €199 and €449 a month; Enterprise custom. Brand and agency plans are listed separately | Logged-out browser sessions on each engine’s consumer site, the default free model, the page as displayed | Ranketta pricing and method | 25 October 2026 |
Ranketta’s pages state “Refresh rate: Daily” on every plan, and its methodology post says each prompt runs weekly; ask which applies to the plan you are quoted.
Where the two differ
| Area | As Ranketta describes it | Where Vercatus sits |
|---|---|---|
| Unit | Prompts per model, tied to a country | Topics: a cluster of questions sampled in many phrasings, with the AI demand behind it as a range |
| Shares | Visibility, average position, share of voice and sentiment, with published formulas | Answer Share with its range for you and every brand named, engine by engine, named and cited apart |
| Products and feeds | Product-level visibility; AI proposals for titles, attributes and categories, published to Merchant Center, Amazon, Heureka and Zboží | Products named in answers, read per product; Vercatus does not rewrite or publish product feeds |
| What to change | Weekly AI-generated actions; a content studio and an assistant | Plays with steps, a draft and an acceptance check a machine runs; hand-offs to coding agents and trackers from Growth |
| Proof of change | Completed actions are marked on the charts; its documentation says this is an observation, not proof of cause | A verdict on every shipped play, read on days 14, 30 and 45 against topics left alone, graded A to D |
| Site checks | A site audit with three scores per page | SEO Health (rules checked by code) and a site audit as nine machine identities, plus crawler traffic from Cloudflare, log drains or uploads |
| API and MCP | An MCP server on every plan; the REST API from Scale | Read-only keys and the MCP server on every plan; write keys from Growth |
| Before you pay | A 7-day trial and a free audit | A free audit once, with real answers from four engines; a refund within 14 days if no run has started |

Questions to ask any vendor, including us
- Population. Which answers does a share count, on which engines and in which market? Two visibility figures are not comparable until those match.
- Range. Does the figure come with its range, and how many answers is it read from?
- Proof. After you ship a change, does anything compare it with what you left alone?
- Collection. Is the answer the one a person sees in the app, or an API’s answer? Both are honest choices; know which you are buying.
Who each is likely to suit
| Your situation | Likely better fit |
|---|---|
| An online store whose catalogue and product feeds are the lever | Evaluate Ranketta’s documented scope |
| A team that wants the exact change and a verdict on whether it worked | Evaluate Vercatus |
| You need both feed work and proof of change | Possibly both; check whether the overlap is worth the cost |
Questions people ask
Do both price on engines?
Yes, in different ways. Ranketta lets the buyer pick a number of engines per plan. Vercatus sells fixed sets, four on Essentials, six on Starter and every engine from Growth, so every site on a plan is read on the same engines and its figures compare.
Is this page neutral?
No. It is published by Vercatus. It tries to be fair by quoting Ranketta’s own pages, dating every figure and saying what it did not test.
Vercatus’s pricing page states its plans, and how it works walks through the loop. For a broader shortlist, see Vercatus alternatives and Vercatus vs Profound.
