An agent that compares or buys needs price, currency and availability as data. schema.org Offer carries price, priceCurrency (ISO 4217), priceSpecification, availability, priceValidUntil, shippingDetails and hasMerchantReturnPolicy. It asks for a dot as the decimal separator and no currency symbol in price. ItemAvailability has 12 values in schema.org V30.1 (September 2026). Google merchant listings accept 10 of them (InStock, OutOfStock, PreOrder, PreSale, BackOrder, Discontinued, LimitedAvailability, OnlineOnly, InStoreOnly, SoldOut), one value per offer. Merchant listings also require an Offer, not an AggregateOffer, with a price greater than zero and a priceCurrency, and only on pages where the shopper can buy the product. Product snippets additionally accept AggregateOffer with lowPrice and priceCurrency.
