Expired domain abuse
Expired domain abuse — buying an expired domain and repurposing it primarily to manipulate rankings with content that gives users little or no value — has been a named spam policy since March 2024 (examples: affiliate content on a former government-agency domain, casino content on a former school site). Google says using an old domain for a new, original site designed to serve people is fine.

AGrade A: official documentation or a standard. A grade describes the provenance of the sources above; it is not a probability that a change will work. The effect basis says how the size of the effect is known: measured by a study, taken from an industry report, only documented without a size, or not quantified.
