Reviews system
Google's reviews system rewards reviews that share insightful analysis, original research and in-depth first-hand evaluation, written by experts or enthusiasts, over thin content that summarises many products. It evaluates first-party review content (single reviews, comparisons, ranked lists) on any topic, not users' reviews on product pages; it works mainly page by page but can evaluate a whole site with a substantial amount of review content. Google's guidance asks for evidence of own experience (visuals, audio, links), quantitative measurements, comparisons with alternatives, and benefits and drawbacks from original research.

AGrade A: official documentation or a standard. A grade describes the provenance of the sources above; it is not a probability that a change will work. The effect basis says how the size of the effect is known: measured by a study, taken from an industry report, only documented without a size, or not quantified.
