About contact policies
Google's rater guidelines (version of 11 September 2025) tell raters to find who is responsible for a site and who created the content, usually via About or Contact pages, to expect contact and customer-service information scaled to the site's purpose (for shops, including payment, exchange and return policies), and to rate payment and YMYL pages Low when that information is unsatisfying.

AGrade A: official documentation or a standard. A grade describes the provenance of the sources above; it is not a probability that a change will work. The effect basis says how the size of the effect is known: measured by a study, taken from an industry report, only documented without a size, or not quantified.
