Google asks for Organization markup on the home page or a single page describing the organisation (such as About us) and says it helps Google understand the organisation's administrative details and disambiguate it in search results; recommended properties include name, url, logo, sameAs, description, address, telephone, email, contactPoint and foundingDate.
